Welcome

Welcome to my little corner of the world. I am so honored by your visit today. My name is Kristi and I am married to my college sweetheart(I refer to him here as "Mr. Incredible"), momma to my 2 beautiful girls who are growing much too quickly, a high school computer teacher, photographer, and a gardener (at times~right now I'm growing weeds). I love to laugh, drink strong Starbucks coffee, take pictures, and be anywhere my family is. Jesus is my Savior and I try so hard to be the wife and momma that He has called me to be. I often fail but He lovingly picks me up, dusts me off, and encourages me that with Him all things are possible. Feel free to join me on this journey of faith, stop in and say hello, look around, and leave a comment~I love comments. Why "Kiki's Corner?" My nephews call me Aunt Kiki and I love that too.

Legacy of Faith

"I have no greater joy
than to hear that my children are walking in Truth."
I John 1:4

What a heritage of faith is ours. R and I were both blessed with Godly, Christian parents and grandparents. They raised us in church, just as we are raising our girls. They taught us to study and know Scripture and to have a deep relationship with God and to try to be like Jesus every day! They taught us how to pray. Oh, I have fond childhood memories of kneeling by my bed at night and praying with my parents and praying with my grandparents when I would spend the night. My girls have these memories too!

They taught me that it wasn't enough for me to just go to church. I needed a Savior! It has been 32 years since I received Him as my Savior and Lord. R was saved 31 years ago.

Rachel was saved when she was six years old. April 4, 1999

Hannah was saved when she was 6 years old. November 16, 2003

My Dad baptized them both. Oh, days to treasure and remember and to thank God! My eyes are filling up with tears of joy. Our circle is complete and that is much to be thankful for! If you still have family members who are not saved, don't give up. Keep praying and believing. I am praying and greatly looking forward to the day when I hear my little nephews call me and say, "Aunt Kiki, I asked Jesus to come into my heart and be my Savior today!" Glory! I can hardly wait for that day!

In Awe of Him,

Kristi

This is one of the best entries I've seen. Thanks for sharing your Family Tree of Faith. This is my prayer too for my children and their children's children... so long as Jesus has not returned to rapture us. LOL!
By the way, I have a tag for you. Hope you care to do it.
God bless you, dear blogmate.:$

How wonderful that is. What a blessing. I was raised in a Christian home but my husband was not. But he got radically saved in 91'. We actually went to the same High School lol. But didn't meet until 95. Thank goodness lol.
I love the picture that you did. It's awesome. Hang it with pride my friend.
Blessings to you.

How precious to have such a legacy. I love that your dad baptized both of your girls. My parents provided me with the foundations of my faith and we are doing the same for our girls. I pray Brian and I have many generations of believers in our "tree."

Amen! This summer I've been helping my sons memorize Psalm 100. Every time we say the last verse, "His faithfulness continues through all generations," I pray that their Godly heritage will be passed on through the future generations of our family.

Ok, that brought me to tears! I pray that our children will continue what God has done in our lives as their parents. We are the first in our family to come to Him. We pray fervently for our family. Thank you for this beautiful post! You are a rare gem!

Happy WFW!

Oh how blessed you are!! I have always wanted a testimony like that but unfortunately mine took a lot of turns before ending up at the cross! I am hoping that my kids will avoid some of my mistakes but there is never a guarantee. It is good to hear stories about families like yours, it is an inspiration!
