Welcome

Welcome to my little corner of the world. I am so honored by your visit today. My name is Kristi and I am married to my college sweetheart(I refer to him here as "Mr. Incredible"), momma to my 2 beautiful girls who are growing much too quickly, a high school computer teacher, photographer, and a gardener (at times~right now I'm growing weeds). I love to laugh, drink strong Starbucks coffee, take pictures, and be anywhere my family is. Jesus is my Savior and I try so hard to be the wife and momma that He has called me to be. I often fail but He lovingly picks me up, dusts me off, and encourages me that with Him all things are possible. Feel free to join me on this journey of faith, stop in and say hello, look around, and leave a comment~I love comments. Why "Kiki's Corner?" My nephews call me Aunt Kiki and I love that too.

The "H" Family {Sneak Peek}

Beautiful Princess in my new tepee. I may have to make a canvas out of this one. I just adore everything about it!

I was so excited to photograph this family. Their beautiful mommy did a fantastic job getting everyone ready and she chose their colors perfectly!

Gorgeous Girlie! Yes, you are totally photogenic! I love how the sunlight is dancing all over your head here.

Big brother really didn't really care to smile (although I did get a few smiles later). I simply had to share because his eyes are incredible! You were thinking, when is this going to end, weren't you? Ha!

 Mother's Day is just around the corner and this image totally makes me smile! Little brother has mud all over his shoes from running....true personalities captured here.

Little brother has one speed~fast! He really didn't have time to sit around and take pictures. But, look who was watching in the background. Too sweet!

I chased this little guy around, sunk my boots in the pond, and pretended to eat grass hoping to catch a smile. Worth it all for this image!

And right after the last image? He growled and showed me his teeth. Ha! I so love my job and this adventure God has blessed me with!

You Can be a Pepper too

Remember the Dr. Pepper song?  Okay, I really don't either. I just remember what I wrote in the title. Ha!  Anyway, Dr. Pepper is my Hannah's favorite drink.  And since her daddy and I went to Baylor, where Dr. Pepper is the drink of choice there (even the bears drink Dr. Pepper at the games), we like it too.

Hannah  found an awesome recipe for Dr. Pepper cake and just had to try it. Yum!

Adding Dr. Pepper to the mix makes it foam. Pretty cool!

And while it is baking, makes your house smell so good!  Here is a quick image of the finished cake:

It is super moist and super delicious!  We added a little whip cream to ours.  YUM! And it certainly didn't last long around our house, I think we consumed it in a couple days!  Thanks, Hannah!!!

Andres {Class of 2013 Sneak Peek}

What a blessing to photograph this Senior! God has incredible plans for his life....one day we hope to see him in the Olympics! Andres, enjoy your Sneak Peek. I cannot wait for you and your family to see the rest of your images!

Cinnamon Roll Pancakes

Oh my goodness gracious Cinnamon Roll Pancakes!  They are amazing, incredible, awesome, delicious, and the ban of my dieting existence.  But, after seeing so many pictures of these darlings on Facebook, and with Rachel being home for Easter weekend, we took the dive into these calorie ridden morsels of deliciousness to see if they were all that they were cracked up to be.  And, um, yes they totally are!

Warning, they are messy and it really helps to have a helper the first time you make them.  I followed the recipe, making my own pancake mix and everything, but you could probably save yourself some time and use Aunt Jemima if you like.

The fun part is trying to swirl the cinnamon mixture on the pancakes.  This was my first attemp.  Yes, it's messy and far from perfect!

But after a little bit, it was time to turn these babies over and look how cool they are now:

Somehow, the cinnamon mixture sinks into the pancake and makes the most incredible divots in the pancakes which are perfect for the icing.

Oh, the joys of this icing!  It is so good, I could bathe in this stuff....but that might be especially messy!  Sweet, but messy.  The icing reminds me of Cinnabon's icing which is the best part of a cinnamon roll!

My mouth is already drooling.....sigh back to the carrots.  I think this icing would even make carrots taste good. Ha!

Photo of the Morning

What an incredible Senior Session this was!  I have many more images to share, but I couldn't wait to share this one this morning.

Ben {A Senior Class of 2013 Sneak Peek}

Benny, thank you for the blessing of taking your senior photos!

We are thrilled for you and the awesome plans God has for your life!

But we are going to miss your fun sense of humor....prrr!

This one makes me choke up a bit....weren't you just a freshman yesterday?

This image makes me smile....true personality shining through.

What a blessing you are!

Spring Mini Sessions {A Sneak Peek}

I could hardly contain my excitement for last weekend's Spring Mini Sessions!  Bubbles, the bunny, was coming along with happy children and I could not wait to capture their images!!!

Enough talking, let's get on to the much anticipated Sneak Peeks!!!  Enjoy!

Miss P {Spring Session Sneak Peek}

Sweet P and her mommy and daddy came to see me! I always love to see them and have the best time planning their sessions!

Miss P was delighted to meet Bubbles!

This image takes my breath away.  There is so much behind those precious little eyes that dance!

I moved the sleigh bed into our field just for fun.  I love this family picture!

And the wind decided to blow just a bit, but I think it is so sweet with her beautiful headband!

Miss P wore her headband for a bit, but then decided she didn't really want to wear it anymore.  So, I happily put it on Bubbles...and Miss P gave me this face.  I think she liked Bubbles wearing it better! Ha!

After a quick change, we headed inside for a few more images.  Precious P!

Sara {A Class of 2013 Senior Sneak Peek}

With Graduation just around the corner, my VIP Senior Sessions are in full swing. Senior Sessions are always so much fun and this session is no exception!

I had the joy of getting to meet Sara and her mom just a few weeks ago. After our consultation session, the ideas for her session were spinning around in my head.  When Sara mentioned that she liked boots, I knew exactly where we needed to do her session!

I love the light in this barn!

While we were taking this next image, her daddy and brother were killing a very large rattlesnake that decided to be an unwelcome visitor!  I don't know how I kept my camera still!

Her giggle in this one makes me smile too!

I think her future is as bright as she is!

Love these boots and her smile!

And because this is their first born, we simply had to have an updated family picture.  Sara's graduation seemed like the perfect opportunity!
