Welcome

Welcome to my little corner of the world. I am so honored by your visit today. My name is Kristi and I am married to my college sweetheart(I refer to him here as "Mr. Incredible"), momma to my 2 beautiful girls who are growing much too quickly, a high school computer teacher, photographer, and a gardener (at times~right now I'm growing weeds). I love to laugh, drink strong Starbucks coffee, take pictures, and be anywhere my family is. Jesus is my Savior and I try so hard to be the wife and momma that He has called me to be. I often fail but He lovingly picks me up, dusts me off, and encourages me that with Him all things are possible. Feel free to join me on this journey of faith, stop in and say hello, look around, and leave a comment~I love comments. Why "Kiki's Corner?" My nephews call me Aunt Kiki and I love that too.

Hoop Time is Finally Here!

Watching my baby girl play basketball...makes even some of the most difficult of weeks seem so much better! Hannah (#50) played in her very first high school basketball game.  It was quite a thrill to watch her put on her first high school jersey.

Being the proud momma that I am, I made special gift bags for Hannah and the entire JV and Varsity teams.  Our girls won 65-6!

It was fun to watch her on the court again.  I loved every second that she was on the court...and loved it even more getting to sit next to her sister (Rachel suprised her by coming in to see her first high school game), her daddy, my parents, Mr. Incredible's parents, and my sister-in-law, my nephews, and Mr. Incredible's Aunt Sug.  Delight!

Is it sad that I REALLY look forward to hearing about Hannah's basketball games? Maybe it's because I'm tall and should have played myself. LOL!
I bet she was thrilled that Rachel was there with you all to cheer her on. And seriously 65-6? That's a slaughter. WOW!

Oh friend...I SO agree. Isn't there just something so special about watching your child play hoops...and the thrill of it can truly erase....tough weeks....I'm hearing you there.

This year...as our son Andrew begin's his 2nd year of college hoops....I'm taking in EVERY game...enjoy the 1st game of the season...knowing...it will be the LAST....1st game of the season we will experience with him after he's played for 14 seasons.

All good things come to end....so I'm soaking in....this season!
