Yes, it's official, Rachel is a senior and I'm learning to form the words, "my daughter is a senior." Deep breaths...Lamaze breathing is not just for child birth.
We all survived our first day of school without very many issues...except I thought Rachel was picking Hannah up from school and she thought I was picking her up and Hannah missed the bus over to the high school in the process. Thank you Mrs. C for picking up Hannah and bringing her to me. I'm hoping my brain returns tomorrow and I can remind her to catch the bus.
And did I tell you that I have 17 freshman in one class? SEVENTEEN FRESHMAN!!!!
If I am every struggling for blog material, I have a feeling that this will be the class to blog about, just saying.
I snapped a few quick photos before heading to school this morning. Here is our senior beauty on the very first day, or the last first day of high school.
And Hannah on her first day of 8th grade.
Sporting some very cool converse:
Sisterhood...what a blessing!

What beautiful girls!
I had a "class" like that when I taught. At least you know it will always be intersting : )
Glad to hear you survived the first day of school. Hope you have a great year! Enjoy every minute of Rachel's senior year.
BTW, you might want to check out the Kohl's Cares contest on Facebook. You might want to enter your school in the contest. I'm supporting Lucas Christian Academy!
Such pretty sisters! Hope they both have great years.
My little first grader is asking me about riding the bus. We lived too close last year but this year I think it may be a possibility. That gives me funny feelings to think of him riding the bus home instead of picking him up!! I can be brave!!
what cuties! what beauties!
