Welcome

Welcome to my little corner of the world. I am so honored by your visit today. My name is Kristi and I am married to my college sweetheart(I refer to him here as "Mr. Incredible"), momma to my 2 beautiful girls who are growing much too quickly, a high school computer teacher, photographer, and a gardener (at times~right now I'm growing weeds). I love to laugh, drink strong Starbucks coffee, take pictures, and be anywhere my family is. Jesus is my Savior and I try so hard to be the wife and momma that He has called me to be. I often fail but He lovingly picks me up, dusts me off, and encourages me that with Him all things are possible. Feel free to join me on this journey of faith, stop in and say hello, look around, and leave a comment~I love comments. Why "Kiki's Corner?" My nephews call me Aunt Kiki and I love that too.

Encouragement Ministry

* Update: Rachel was only able to make it to 4th period. Her headache was at a 4 when she came to my classroom. (Thank you Poppie for bringing her home.) She is back home with her feet up, in a dark room, and her headache is now at a 3. Please, continue praying for her.

"Therefore encourage one another and build up one another, just as you also are doing."
I Thessalonians 5:11

Our family has felt so loved and has been encouraged by so many of you. When we felt like we were holding on by a thread, a special card or encouraging blog comment was found. Thank you!

Let me just say that a timely Word of encouragement may mean more to the recipient than you will ever know. If God has placed someone on your heart to encourage, please follow through with His leading today. I know from recent experiences just how much of an impact a few words of encouragement can bring. Be a blessing to somebody special today.

Joyfully,
Kristi

P.S. Rachel and I are headed back to high school today. She is a little nervous, and to be honest, I am too. We are praying that she will be able to cope well with the makeup work that she needs to do and that God would help her to be stress-free even in the midst of trying to get caught up. I'll be teaching again but watching my precious daughter as often as I can see her in the hall. We are desperate for God to take away her headaches and for Rachel to be able to get back to as normal of a life as possible. Please join us in praying that her return to school will be an easy transition and that her headaches will not return. Thanks for your continued prayer support!

I am so glad your sweet Rachel is feeling better...and how wonderful those you love have surrounded you...there is nothing like the Body lifting one another up!

Prayers ascending for a peaceful day at school for both of you (and pain free for Rachel)

Blessings.

Kristi, I am praying that Rachel continues to do well as she transitions back to school. What a blessing that you teach in her school, too!

I'll be thinking of her today. HS is overwhelming enough and to have an illness on top of it ... praying for her.

Hey Kiki,

I'm so blessed God has surrounded you with so many wonderful, caring friends.

Bearing your burden, thus fulfilling God's command.

I'm happy she is doing better. My heart truly goes out to you and your family.

God is being glorified through it all.

Keep holding on to Jesus!

I think blogger just lost my comment, so I'll try again...please delete if this is a duplicate.

Just wanted to say how grateful I am the Lord has made His presence real to your family during this time through the kindness of others. Couldn't agree more with what you said about encouragement...so very important! Rachel remains in my thoughts and prayers. Maybe tomorrow she'll be able to stay a bit longer...and with NO pain! (That's how I'm praying...)

Blessings,
Tracy
