Welcome

Welcome to my little corner of the world. I am so honored by your visit today. My name is Kristi and I am married to my college sweetheart(I refer to him here as "Mr. Incredible"), momma to my 2 beautiful girls who are growing much too quickly, a high school computer teacher, photographer, and a gardener (at times~right now I'm growing weeds). I love to laugh, drink strong Starbucks coffee, take pictures, and be anywhere my family is. Jesus is my Savior and I try so hard to be the wife and momma that He has called me to be. I often fail but He lovingly picks me up, dusts me off, and encourages me that with Him all things are possible. Feel free to join me on this journey of faith, stop in and say hello, look around, and leave a comment~I love comments. Why "Kiki's Corner?" My nephews call me Aunt Kiki and I love that too.

A Few Things for Thursday

I just thought I would share a few updates.  The bunnies are growing.  Their little eyes are starting to open and they are filling out so nicely:

Those tee-tiny ears are just so precious:
It's hard work checking on the bunnies several times a day.  Ha!  We love them so much and hope they stick around for a long time.
And remember the pictures I took of Hannah wearing my vintage 1988 prom dress??? Out of over 1600 entries we placed 30th.  I was so excited!  Thank you for helping me choose a photo.

Speaking of photos....my favorite senior in the whole world let me take a few more senior pics.  Despite the awful winds, we managed to giggle and laugh and take a few pictures before retreating inside out of the blowing dirt.

I asked Rachel to give me a serious-I-am-thinking-about-my-future-look and this is what I got.  I can't do serious faces either, sweet daughter of mine!
But then she flashed her beautiful eyes at me and I got this one:

And then I was a puddle on the floor...because the realization that graduation is only 5 weeks away is weighing hard on this heart of mine.  Oh, yes I know this is another way to trust the Lord and I am so proud of the young lady that she has become, but I just held her in my arms for the very first time yesterday it seems.

Bunnies! I am behind in reading my blogs. Too cute. I would have never guessed. Rachel is beautiful. I remember what I felt when my daughter graduated. And to think I have three others making that journey!

How cool about placing 30th out of so many entries.
And Rachel is just so cute. I have a hard time keeping a straight face too. Go figure! LOL!
Have a great day.
