Welcome

Welcome to my little corner of the world. I am so honored by your visit today. My name is Kristi and I am married to my college sweetheart(I refer to him here as "Mr. Incredible"), momma to my 2 beautiful girls who are growing much too quickly, a high school computer teacher, photographer, and a gardener (at times~right now I'm growing weeds). I love to laugh, drink strong Starbucks coffee, take pictures, and be anywhere my family is. Jesus is my Savior and I try so hard to be the wife and momma that He has called me to be. I often fail but He lovingly picks me up, dusts me off, and encourages me that with Him all things are possible. Feel free to join me on this journey of faith, stop in and say hello, look around, and leave a comment~I love comments. Why "Kiki's Corner?" My nephews call me Aunt Kiki and I love that too.

Fresh Grounded Faith

If you have read my blog for any length of time, you know that I love a good devotional book.  "Streams in the Desert," by Cowman is still one of my all time favorites.  Don't get me wrong, nothing replaces reading the Word but I so enjoy a good devotional book too.

My parents blessed me with an incredible one this year.  Jennifer Rotschild doesn't know me from Adam but she is one of my mentor's in the faith.  What an awesome testimony she has.  The Lord uses her in amazing ways to further His Kingdom.

Her newest devotional book is called, "Fresh Grounded Faith" and it comes with a two pack of coffee if you order her book here:  http://www.freshgroundedfaith.com/  There is even a place to register for a Starbucks gift card.  Yum!
Jennifer will even autograph your book for you.  Mine is! If you would like to read an excerpt please click here.  I think you will really enjoy this book!  I am loving mine.  It is one of those devotion books that stays with you in your mind all day long.  Love that!  She also has a Fresh Grounded Faith conference that I would love to attend if she ever comes to Texas.

Like I said before, Jennifer has never heard of my little blog, I'm not getting paid to talk about her book, I just wanted you to know about it because I think it is incredible!  Coffee and a morning devotion...awesome!

And because I totally trust your judgment on such matters, I'm going to go check it out!
I like a good devotional as well. I haven't found a really good one in awhile.
BIG Hugs!

Although I have picked up a devotional already for the year, this is worth checking out. Anything having to do with coffee speaks to my heart. Thanks for sharing!

I found one at Mardels this weekend and of course I bought it. Kristi you are so cool! Just thought I would tell you that today. I've been meaning to write you a letter about what an influenial, wise woman of faith you are to me. I'm always telling Russell how I want my child and future children to be like Rachel and Hannah. They are so kind, beautiful young ladies, who are true followeres of Jesus in a culture where it seems rare. They are true gems. And you are too. And your mom for that matter. What a wonderful thing to have a generation of faith as you do! I am not fortunate to have that but am praying desperately for God to use me as a starting place for future generations. Have a great day!
