Welcome

Welcome to my little corner of the world. I am so honored by your visit today. My name is Kristi and I am married to my college sweetheart(I refer to him here as "Mr. Incredible"), momma to my 2 beautiful girls who are growing much too quickly, a high school computer teacher, photographer, and a gardener (at times~right now I'm growing weeds). I love to laugh, drink strong Starbucks coffee, take pictures, and be anywhere my family is. Jesus is my Savior and I try so hard to be the wife and momma that He has called me to be. I often fail but He lovingly picks me up, dusts me off, and encourages me that with Him all things are possible. Feel free to join me on this journey of faith, stop in and say hello, look around, and leave a comment~I love comments. Why "Kiki's Corner?" My nephews call me Aunt Kiki and I love that too.

Word Filled Wednesday 9/17/08

I added the verse to this incredible picture from Easy Worship. I often use this as a background for songs during worship.

Every time I see this picture a new verse comes to mind.
I'm so thankful that He makes intercession for us. He is our High Priest!

An Uncle on my husband's side of the family passed away last night from colon cancer. His colostomy and cancer flooded my mind with thoughts of my precious Aunt Faye and her courageous battle with colon cancer.

There were many times in my season of loss and grief that I didn't know how to pray. I would just fall to my knees and let Jesus intercede for me. I'm thankful that no matter what season we may find ourselves in, He intercedes to the Father on our behalf. Isn't that amazing??? What a mighty God we serve! Oh, there is no god like our God! Praise You, Father!
Please, visit Word Filled Wednesdays for more Scripture and inspiration.

Sorry to hear about the loss in your family. I really like the graphic you posted, the verse is touching and the image is wow! On another note - isn't Easy Worship the bomb?!! I love using it - it makes me look smart sometimes.

I lost my Grandpa and Step Dad to cancer last year, and five years ago I lost my Dad to cancer, so I understand your feelings of loss :( I too am glad that he intercedes to the Father for us. It's wonderful to know that sometimes when we are hurting so much all we need to do is cry out His name and that is the whole prayer. He knows our needs and will see to them. Great post and beautiful picture!

Hey Kiki,

Thanks so much for stopping by today.

So sorry to read about your husband's uncle. How sad...

Yes, what a perfect scripture. Just to even think of our advocate interceding for us, 24/7 brings so much comfort and reassurance.
