Welcome

Welcome to my little corner of the world. I am so honored by your visit today. My name is Kristi and I am married to my college sweetheart(I refer to him here as "Mr. Incredible"), momma to my 2 beautiful girls who are growing much too quickly, a high school computer teacher, photographer, and a gardener (at times~right now I'm growing weeds). I love to laugh, drink strong Starbucks coffee, take pictures, and be anywhere my family is. Jesus is my Savior and I try so hard to be the wife and momma that He has called me to be. I often fail but He lovingly picks me up, dusts me off, and encourages me that with Him all things are possible. Feel free to join me on this journey of faith, stop in and say hello, look around, and leave a comment~I love comments. Why "Kiki's Corner?" My nephews call me Aunt Kiki and I love that too.

HFAC

HFAC! Holy (as in holy cow) Flippin' Animal Crackers Poppie is learning to text! Poppie, Mr. Incredible's dad, just bought a new phone with texting capabilities. He didn't know he could text until Mr. Incredible sent him a text after last Friday's football game.

We were rofl (rolling on the floor laughing) when he sent Rachel a text that went something like this: Cus, dlbb, HK T-dawg.

What??? Rachel laughed and said, "I think Poppie googled how to text!" She was right! Nonnie and Poppie googled a list of words to text and then carefully typed them in and sent them to Rachel.

We finally figured out that Cus, dlbb, HK, T-dawg means " See you soon, don't let the bed bugs bite, hugs and kisses, Poppie."

Rachel sent back a text and 20 MINUTES later, she got this reply. HFAC. We had to look that up too. She sent another text and waited and sent another text asking if he was still typing. Finally, Poppie gave up the texting and just called her to say that his fingers were cramping. Rachel laughed so hard she turned purple.

How cool that she has grandparents that love her enough to try to speak her language (even if it's formal texting ). That's a pretty sweet love language to a granddaughter.

TTYL (talk to you later)

Oh that is sooo funny. I admit I had no idea what those abbreviations where either lol. And forget my Dad ever doing that, no way! Thanks for linking up my friend.
Blessings.

What a hoot! Too funny. My dad, at 74, finally got a cell phone and a digital camera. It's been fun watching him use it. What does HFAC mean?

Very funny...maybe I need to google how to text as well. I would rather call : ) But the thought of my grandparents figuring that out is a hoot!

I love this, Kristi! What special grandparents your daughters have... it makes me laugh, too, as I try to imagine my mother texting on her cell phone! :)

Have a great weekend1

That's cute. I wouldn't have been able to figure that out at all, and I don't think I would have taken the time to learn them. What a sweet grandpa she has. :)

Now how awesome is that! I have NO idea how to text. Someone texts me and I call them back. But, how special that a grandparent would do this.

Thanks for sharing this great legacy moment.
