Welcome

Welcome to my little corner of the world. I am so honored by your visit today. My name is Kristi and I am married to my college sweetheart(I refer to him here as "Mr. Incredible"), momma to my 2 beautiful girls who are growing much too quickly, a high school computer teacher, photographer, and a gardener (at times~right now I'm growing weeds). I love to laugh, drink strong Starbucks coffee, take pictures, and be anywhere my family is. Jesus is my Savior and I try so hard to be the wife and momma that He has called me to be. I often fail but He lovingly picks me up, dusts me off, and encourages me that with Him all things are possible. Feel free to join me on this journey of faith, stop in and say hello, look around, and leave a comment~I love comments. Why "Kiki's Corner?" My nephews call me Aunt Kiki and I love that too.

It's a Random Monday

Happy Monday! I'm feeling a bit random today, so this post is a bit everywhere.

1. I realized this morning that I haven't posted pictures of the delicious Prom food that my mother-in-law, the caterer, created. She and her 2 sisters worked so hard to make everything absolutely perfect! Here are some pictures:

Our prom colors were black, silver, and purple. I love the purple stones and bubbles (Christmas bulbs) that she placed in the martini glasses. This was the dipping station flanked by Chick-filet nuggets and pizza rolls (requested by the students):

This was the sandwich station filled with ham, turkey, and pork tenderloin:

The beautiful fruit table. I love the ice bucket that holds the strawberry tree and the glass blocks:

The chocolate fountain....yum! Nonnie provided marshmellows, rice krispy treats, nutter-butters, and pirouette cookies:

This was a special gift for Rachel. It was a mashed potato bar complete with martini glasses to place your potoatoes in and all of the toppings you can imagine. Rachel was so surprised:

Here is Nonnie's Mexican cheesecake (in the middle), shrimp, salsa, and taquitos:

It was so beautiful and delicious. Thank you Nonnie, Robbie, & Bobbie!!!!

2. Today starts the last six weeks of school. YIPEE!!!!!!

3. I have my vegetables ready to plant in my garden.

4. But, I need to get the grass out of my garden before I plant. {sigh!}

5. Rachel and Hannah went on a double date Saturday night. {Double sigh!}

6. I cleaned out my closet this weekend and I found so many things I had forgotten about. Can anyone else relate?

7. I like Sunday morning church a lot better when my daddy is preaching.
