Welcome

Welcome to my little corner of the world. I am so honored by your visit today. My name is Kristi and I am married to my college sweetheart(I refer to him here as "Mr. Incredible"), momma to my 2 beautiful girls who are growing much too quickly, a high school computer teacher, photographer, and a gardener (at times~right now I'm growing weeds). I love to laugh, drink strong Starbucks coffee, take pictures, and be anywhere my family is. Jesus is my Savior and I try so hard to be the wife and momma that He has called me to be. I often fail but He lovingly picks me up, dusts me off, and encourages me that with Him all things are possible. Feel free to join me on this journey of faith, stop in and say hello, look around, and leave a comment~I love comments. Why "Kiki's Corner?" My nephews call me Aunt Kiki and I love that too.

Guess What I'm Doing???

My girls are at youth camp this week (sigh). I miss them terribly! I love youth camp, don't get me wrong, this will be an incredible week with the Lord for them. But this momma likes it when her girls are home.

Hello time? Would you please stop moving so quickly!
When did my baby become old enough to go to youth camp with her sister?

I have a million things that I should be doing, but this is what I would rather be doing:
(It use to be bright orange)
Can you tell what I am doing?
Not yet? Okay, here is another hint:

From lime green and hot pink to this:

Oooh lala!

(Yes, it's a lamp shade)

And from little girl pink:

To a more sophisticated chic:

I'm sure you have guessed it by now! I am redoing my girl's bedrooms. They were given new bedding for their birthdays this spring. Rachel wanted a more grown up look (be still my heart) and Hannah wanted a more funky teen look and I wanted to do all of this on a budget. So, I'm recovering picture boards, lamp shades, and doing a little decorative painting.

Now that school is out (praise the Lord!) I have more time and it is soooooo much fun!
That's all of the sneak peeks that you get for today.
I'll be back for more tomorrow. Have a blessed day in the Lord today!

Joyfully,
Kristi

I hope you are having as much fun decorating as your girls are having at camp. I know you miss them, and believe it or not, they miss you. It will be really sweet to be back together again. They are going to love the redecorating.
