I Am TAKS-ed Out!

For those non-Texans, or who don't have children in public schools in Texas, the TAKS test is the MAJOR test/tests of the year. Our high school students began TAKS week on Tuesday and today is the final day for testing.  Students have to pass these state-mandated tests in order to move up a grade or to graduate.  There is major pressure on them and on all of us as teachers too.

We want our students to pass these tests with every fiber in our beings!  And we work very hard to prepare them for the test.  Needless to say, by the end of the week we are TAKS-ed out too!

Which reminds me, this past Sunday I heard a sweet voice call, "Aunt Kiki, look!"  And he flashed this face at my camera:

Ha! I think this is totally how I look after a week of administering the TAKS tests.
I am so looking forward to this weekend! Do you have any big plans?

A Sweet Surprise!

Last week one of my friends and co-workers asked me to take her Math TAKS tutorial class because she and her husband were going to be out of town for a long weekend. Naturally, I said yes. Mr. Incredible and I are trying to plan a little weekend getaway soon...you know, right before we have to start paying for college.  Ha!

I was happy to take her class for her and didn't think a second about it. This past Monday morning, I had a sweet surprise in my teacher's box:

She surprised me with this beautifully packaged Brown-Sugar Scrub as a thank you.  Delight! It smells divine!  I can't wait to use it but I just can't make myself use it just yet because it is so pretty!  Thank you Kristi P!

Mother's Day is just around the corner.  Wouldn't this be a perfect gift?!

Sweet Handprints

While we were hunting eggs at Nonnie and Poppie's house this past Easter Sunday, Mr. Incredible called to me from across the yard.  He smiled and said, "Bring your camera. Do you remember these?"

Oh, yes!  I remember these precious hand prints.  Nearly thirteen years ago, their precious hands were this tiny.  Rachel was 5 and Hannah was 1.  Just look at how much their sweet hands have grown!  Ugh, kind of makes this momma's heart hurt a little.  And then it makes my mind wonder how the Lord will continue to use these sweet hands for His glory and good purpose.

Little Bunny Foo-Foo~An Update

Our little bunnies are growing up.  Friday we thought that our little bunny count was down to two...but somehow the little wild hare reappeared Saturday afternoon and we were thrilled to see him.

It has to be a boy!  The girls are sweetly nestled in their bunny burrow.  Okay, I don't know if it's a boy, but I'm going with it anyway.
Here is one of the sweet bunnies. Their eyes are open...so sweet!
She likes to be held but not the wild child boy hare.  He jumped out of Rachel's arms and nearly plunged 4 feet to his death.  Surprisingly, he landed on his feet much like a cat.  Whew! Needless to say, whenever he sees Rachel, he hops in the other direction.  Ha!  I'm just kidding, Rachel!

Speaking of bunnies, even though Easter isn't about a bunny, the Easter bunny still visits our house.  He/she leaves sugar candy eggs in a trail from the girls' rooms all the way to their chairs in the kitchen:

where a few treasures are waiting:

The Easter bunny use to do this for my brother and I...happy memories and traditions to pass down to my girls too.  Normally, the Easter bunny hides eggs to find too, but since sunrise service was a bit early, the Easter bunny just left a trail. Not that kind of trail!  A good kind of trail.

Hannah followed the traditional trail to her chair and then started looking for eggs throughout the house.  She sweetly said, "Wow! The Easter bunny did a good job hiding the eggs this year." And then I let her in on my little secret that the EB was going to sunrise service and that she had already found the "hidden" egg trail. We both giggled.
What did ya'll do to celebrate Easter?

An Egg-celent Easter

I hope that you had a wonderful Easter celebrating the Risen One!  Our morning started off at the early hour of 5:30 as we all got ready to leave the house by 6:30 to make our drive to the Sunrise Service.  To be honest, my mind was so flooded with treasured memories of all that we were blessed to see and experience in Israel that I was wide awake at 3:00 but I made myself stay in bed until 5:00.

Easter has always been special, but this year...I just don't have the words to describe it.  What a blessing to visit Israel right before Easter!  Please, please take the time to go one day.  You will never be the same!

Mr. Incredible and I were blessed to sing "And God Cried," at the sunrise service.  This is one of our all time favorite songs to sing.  Love the part best that says, "And God cried, "Jesus is alive!""  Love it!

After sunrise service, we dined on Mrs. Nora's fabulous breakfast burritos, visited a sweet man in the nursing home, and then headed to hear the choir cantata during Worship.

After the worship service, it was time for an Egg-celent Easter celebration at Mr. Incredible's parents house complete with all of the cousins.  We all had lunch together and then the much anticipated egg hunt of 2011 began.  The kids could hardly wait!  Let the hunting begin!
The little cousins hunt for candy but the big cousins get to hunt for "special eggs" (they have money inside!).  I want to hunt too! We have college to pay for.  Ha!  Can you tell from the picture below who found the egg? Hannah, can I please have a loan?  Ha!
It was fun to watch all the children hunting eggs and then looking inside for their prizes.  Some found candy and others found one dollar bills.  This little cutie on the right said, "But they are all just one dollar!"  Too cute...it looks like she has a lot of "just one dollars!"  Can I have a loan?  Just kidding!
Little Miss Sarah on the right has lost 6 teeth.  I just love her sweet little tooth-less smile.  And little Em was working really hard to see the treasure inside:

My little nephews, who aren't so little anymore, had fun hunting eggs and climbing trees:
And precious little Zoe was so sweet to show me the treats she and her mommy made for all of the cousins.  I love this picture of "T" and Rachel sitting on the front porch:
And can you say, "Super-model pose time?"  Their daddy's better get ready!  They are already knock-outs!
And what do you get when you have Aunt Kiki, her camera, and a shady tree?  Cousins who love to climb the tree and say, "Aunt Kiki! Take my picture!"  I loved every second of it!
The only way we could get Miss Sarah out of the tree was for Hannah to put her on her shoulders.  Hannah loved it too!
And can you say, "Precious!"  They were telling Jason about their blow pop rings. The ring on their right finger was for something bad and the rings on their left fingers were for something good.  Guess which ones they ate first?  You guessed it, the ones on the right!  Ha!  Loved the attitude in how they were telling their story.
Here are the momma's that started it all.  This is Mr. Incredible's mom, Nonnie, on the top left and her sisters "Shug," Aunt Nonna, and Aunt Bobbie-O-K.  The picture on the right is all of their children and spouses except for John Eric who was too busy in Colorado to be bothered by a little Easter celebration (Just kidding.  We know it's far. We missed you!). Thank you, Rebecca for taking the picture with my camera!
I like this picture of Hannah and Aunt Sissie.  She tells everyone that Hannah gets her height from her.  Ha! Mr. Chandler had fun hanging out in the trees and the last picture is right before the hunt began.  Fun! Fun!
Everyone had a lot of fun.  I think all of the eggs were found, emptied, and returned back to the tub for next year.  Whew! What a wonderful day.  I need a nap!

Our Blessed Savior!

On this special day, Good Friday, my heart so easily reflects on all that we were blessed to see in Israel just two short months ago.  And to be honest, it feels like we have already celebrated Easter with Him in the Holy Land.  And even though I have already shared some of these pictures from our trip, this day seems to be a day to share them again with Scripture.
John 18
Jesus Arrested

1 When he had finished praying, Jesus left with his disciples and crossed the Kidron Valley.11 Jesus commanded Peter, “Put your sword away! Shall I not drink the cup the Father has given me?”

12 Then the detachment of soldiers with its commander and the Jewish officials arrested Jesus. They bound him 13 and brought him first to Annas, who was the father-in-law of Caiaphas, the high priest that year. 14 Caiaphas was the one who had advised the Jewish leaders that it would be good if one man died for the people.

(The Kidron Valley is pictured below.  The actual Valley is the green grassy area.  Jesus was travelling from the Upper Room that is located North West on this picture, crossing the Kidron Valley, and walking to the Garden of Gethsemane which is very close to where the groves of trees are located in the bottom right corner of the picture)
On the other side there was a garden, and he and his disciples went into it. (See the picture below-these are some of the same trees that would have been in the Garden of Gethsemane when Jesus prayed there).

2 Now Judas, who betrayed him, knew the place, because Jesus had often met there with his disciples. 3 So Judas came to the garden, guiding a detachment of soldiers and some officials from the chief priests and the Pharisees. They were carrying torches, lanterns and weapons.
4 Jesus, knowing all that was going to happen to him, went out and asked them, “Who is it you want?”
5 “Jesus of Nazareth,” they replied. “I am he,” Jesus said. (And Judas the traitor was standing there with them.) 6 When Jesus said, “I am he,” they drew back and fell to the ground.
7 Again he asked them, “Who is it you want?” “Jesus of Nazareth,” they said.
8 Jesus answered, “I told you that I am he. If you are looking for me, then let these men go.” 9 This happened so that the words he had spoken would be fulfilled: “I have not lost one of those you gave me.”[a]

10 Then Simon Peter, who had a sword, drew it and struck the high priest’s servant, cutting off his right ear. (The servant’s name was Malchus.)

 The High Priest Questions Jesus

19 Meanwhile, the high priest questioned Jesus about his disciples and his teaching.

20 “I have spoken openly to the world,” Jesus replied. “I always taught in synagogues or at the temple, where all the Jews come together. I said nothing in secret. 21 Why question me? Ask those who heard me. Surely they know what I said.”

22 When Jesus said this, one of the officials nearby slapped him in the face. “Is this the way you answer the high priest?” he demanded.
23 “If I said something wrong,” Jesus replied, “testify as to what is wrong. But if I spoke the truth, why did you strike me?” 24 Then Annas sent him bound to Caiaphas the high priest.

Below is a picture from the House of Caiaphas where there is a prison under his home.  The first picture shows the prison, but the second photo shows where they kept Jesus that night.  The Light of the World would have been lowered into His prison and He would have been kept in complete darkness.)

 Jesus Before Pilate

28 Then the Jewish leaders took Jesus from Caiaphas to the palace of the Roman governor. By now it was early morning, and to avoid ceremonial uncleanness they did not enter the palace, because they wanted to be able to eat the Passover. 29 So Pilate came out to them and asked, “What charges are you bringing against this man?”

30 “If he were not a criminal,” they replied, “we would not have handed him over to you.”

31 Pilate said, “Take him yourselves and judge him by your own law.”  “But we have no right to execute anyone,” they objected. 32 This took place to fulfill what Jesus had said about the kind of death he was going to die.
33 Pilate then went back inside the palace, summoned Jesus and asked him, “Are you the king of the Jews?”
34 “Is that your own idea,” Jesus asked, “or did others talk to you about me?”
35 “Am I a Jew?” Pilate replied. “Your own people and chief priests handed you over to me. What is it you have done?”
36 Jesus said, “My kingdom is not of this world. If it were, my servants would fight to prevent my arrest by the Jewish leaders. But now my kingdom is from another place.”
37 “You are a king, then!” said Pilate. Jesus answered, “You say that I am a king. In fact, the reason I was born and came into the world is to testify to the truth. Everyone on the side of truth listens to me.”

38 “What is truth?” retorted Pilate. With this he went out again to the Jews gathered there and said, “I find no basis for a charge against him. 39 But it is your custom for me to release to you one prisoner at the time of the Passover. Do you want me to release ‘the king of the Jews’?”
40 They shouted back, “No, not him! Give us Barabbas!” Now Barabbas had taken part in an uprising.

The picture below shows some of the ancient steps Jesus walked from the house of Caiaphus to stand before Pilate:
John 19

Jesus Sentenced to Be Crucified

1 Then Pilate took Jesus and had him flogged. 2 The soldiers twisted together a crown of thorns and put it on his head. They clothed him in a purple robe 3 and went up to him again and again, saying, “Hail, king of the Jews!” And they slapped him in the face.

4 Once more Pilate came out and said to the Jews gathered there, “Look, I am bringing him out to you to let you know that I find no basis for a charge against him.” 5 When Jesus came out wearing the crown of thorns and the purple robe, Pilate said to them, “Here is the man!”

6 As soon as the chief priests and their officials saw him, they shouted, “Crucify! Crucify!”
But Pilate answered, “You take him and crucify him. As for me, I find no basis for a charge against him.”
7 The Jewish leaders insisted, “We have a law, and according to that law he must die, because he claimed to be the Son of God.”
8 When Pilate heard this, he was even more afraid, 9 and he went back inside the palace. “Where do you come from?” he asked Jesus, but Jesus gave him no answer. 10 “Do you refuse to speak to me?” Pilate said. “Don’t you realize I have power either to free you or to crucify you?”
11 Jesus answered, “You would have no power over me if it were not given to you from above. Therefore the one who handed me over to you is guilty of a greater sin.”
12 From then on, Pilate tried to set Jesus free, but the Jewish leaders kept shouting, “If you let this man go, you are no friend of Caesar. Anyone who claims to be a king opposes Caesar.”
13 When Pilate heard this, he brought Jesus out and sat down on the judge’s seat at a place known as the Stone Pavement (which in Aramaic is Gabbatha). 14 It was the day of Preparation of the Passover; it was about noon. “Here is your king,” Pilate said to the Jews.

15 But they shouted, “Take him away! Take him away! Crucify him!” “Shall I crucify your king?” Pilate asked. “We have no king but Caesar,” the chief priests answered.

16 Finally Pilate handed him over to them to be crucified.

The Crucifixion of Jesus

So the soldiers took charge of Jesus. 17 Carrying his own cross, he went out to the place of the Skull (which in Aramaic is called Golgotha). 18 There they crucified him, and with him two others—one on each side and Jesus in the middle.

19 Pilate had a notice prepared and fastened to the cross. It read: JESUS OF NAZARETH, THE KING OF THE JEWS. 20 Many of the Jews read this sign, for the place where Jesus was crucified was near the city, and the sign was written in Aramaic, Latin and Greek. 21 The chief priests of the Jews protested to Pilate, “Do not write ‘The King of the Jews,’ but that this man claimed to be king of the Jews.”

22 Pilate answered, “What I have written, I have written.”

23 When the soldiers crucified Jesus, they took his clothes, dividing them into four shares, one for each of them, with the undergarment remaining. This garment was seamless, woven in one piece from top to bottom.

24 “Let’s not tear it,” they said to one another. “Let’s decide by lot who will get it.” This happened that the scripture might be fulfilled that said, “They divided my clothes among themand cast lots for my garment.”So this is what the soldiers did.

From Matthew 27:
The Soldiers Mock Jesus

27 Then the governor’s soldiers took Jesus into the Praetorium and gathered the whole company of soldiers around him. 28 They stripped him and put a scarlet robe on him, 29 and then twisted together a crown of thorns and set it on his head. They put a staff in his right hand. Then they knelt in front of him and mocked him. “Hail, king of the Jews!” they said. 30 They spit on him, and took the staff and struck him on the head again and again. 31 After they had mocked him, they took off the robe and put his own clothes on him. Then they led him away to crucify him.

Pictured below is a blurry image (it was very dark here) of the sign that explains the "King's Game." A horrendous game the soldiers played with Jesus and others set to be crucified:

These are images of the Via Dolorosa, the path Jesus walked on His way to be crucified for you and for me at Golgotha:

33 They came to a place called Golgotha (which means “the place of the skull”). 34 There they offered Jesus wine to drink, mixed with gall; but after tasting it, he refused to drink it. 35 When they had crucified him, they divided up his clothes by casting lots. 36 And sitting down, they kept watch over him there. 37 Above his head they placed the written charge against him: THIS IS JESUS, THE KING OF THE JEWS.

38 Two rebels were crucified with him, one on his right and one on his left. 39 Those who passed by hurled insults at him, shaking their heads 40 and saying, “You who are going to destroy the temple and build it in three days, save yourself! Come down from the cross, if you are the Son of God!” 41 In the same way the chief priests, the teachers of the law and the elders mocked him. 42 “He saved others,” they said, “but he can’t save himself! He’s the king of Israel! Let him come down now from the cross, and we will believe in him. 43 He trusts in God. Let God rescue him now if he wants him, for he said, ‘I am the Son of God.’” 44 In the same way the rebels who were crucified with him also heaped insults on him.
The Death of Jesus

45 From noon until three in the afternoon darkness came over all the land. 46 About three in the afternoon Jesus cried out in a loud voice, “Eli, Eli,[c] lema sabachthani?” (which means “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”).[d]

47 When some of those standing there heard this, they said, “He’s calling Elijah.”

48 Immediately one of them ran and got a sponge. He filled it with wine vinegar, put it on a staff, and offered it to Jesus to drink. 49 The rest said, “Now leave him alone. Let’s see if Elijah comes to save him.”

50 And when Jesus had cried out again in a loud voice, he gave up his spirit.
51 At that moment the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. The earth shook, the rocks split 52 and the tombs broke open. The bodies of many holy people who had died were raised to life. 53 They came out of the tombs after Jesus’ resurrection and[e] went into the holy city and appeared to many people.

54 When the centurion and those with him who were guarding Jesus saw the earthquake and all that had happened, they were terrified, and exclaimed, “Surely he was the Son of God!”

55 Many women were there, watching from a distance. They had followed Jesus from Galilee to care for his needs. 56 Among them were Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James and Joseph,[f] and the mother of Zebedee’s sons.

The picture below is what they believe is Golgotha which means the place of the skull.  Can you see the skull resemblance in the rock?

 The Burial of Jesus

57 As evening approached, there came a rich man from Arimathea, named Joseph, who had himself become a disciple of Jesus. 58 Going to Pilate, he asked for Jesus’ body, and Pilate ordered that it be given to him. 59 Joseph took the body, wrapped it in a clean linen cloth, 60 and placed it in his own new tomb that he had cut out of the rock. He rolled a big stone in front of the entrance to the tomb and went away. 61 Mary Magdalene and the other Mary were sitting there opposite the tomb.

The Guard at the Tomb

62 The next day, the one after Preparation Day, the chief priests and the Pharisees went to Pilate. 63 “Sir,” they said, “we remember that while he was still alive that deceiver said, ‘After three days I will rise again.’ 64 So give the order for the tomb to be made secure until the third day. Otherwise, his disciples may come and steal the body and tell the people that he has been raised from the dead. This last deception will be worse than the first.”

65 “Take a guard,” Pilate answered. “Go, make the tomb as secure as you know how.” 66 So they went and made the tomb secure by putting a seal on the stone and posting the guard.

The Garden Tomb is pictured below:
This is where they layed His precious head and feet:
 Matthew 28

Jesus Has Risen

1 After the Sabbath, at dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to look at the tomb.

2 There was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it. 3 His appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow. 4 The guards were so afraid of him that they shook and became like dead men.

5 The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. 6 He is not here; He has risen, just as He said. Come and see the place where he lay. 7 Then go quickly and tell his disciples: ‘He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him.’ Now I have told you.”
8 So the women hurried away from the tomb, afraid yet filled with joy, and ran to tell his disciples. 9 Suddenly Jesus met them. “Greetings,” he said. They came to him, clasped his feet and worshiped him. 10 Then Jesus said to them, “Do not be afraid. Go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee; there they will see me.”

This is the sign on the door that stands today:

Oh, what a Savior!  Do you know Him as Savior and Lord? There is no one like Jesus who gave His life to save you from sin.  The gift He offers is salvation and eternal life.  It doesn't cost you a single thing, it is His free gift to you-paid in full by His blood.  Why not receive this gift of salvation today?

And if you already know Jesus as your Lord and Savior, I hope that you are rejoicing right along with me knowing full well that we are dearly loved children of God, praising Him all day long, and taking time to reflect and remember the true meaning of Easter.

Hallelujah!  He is risen, just as He said!  Praise You, Jesus!

A Few Things for Thursday

I just thought I would share a few updates.  The bunnies are growing.  Their little eyes are starting to open and they are filling out so nicely:

Those tee-tiny ears are just so precious:
It's hard work checking on the bunnies several times a day.  Ha!  We love them so much and hope they stick around for a long time.
And remember the pictures I took of Hannah wearing my vintage 1988 prom dress??? Out of over 1600 entries we placed 30th.  I was so excited!  Thank you for helping me choose a photo.

Speaking of photos....my favorite senior in the whole world let me take a few more senior pics.  Despite the awful winds, we managed to giggle and laugh and take a few pictures before retreating inside out of the blowing dirt.

I asked Rachel to give me a serious-I-am-thinking-about-my-future-look and this is what I got.  I can't do serious faces either, sweet daughter of mine!
But then she flashed her beautiful eyes at me and I got this one:

And then I was a puddle on the floor...because the realization that graduation is only 5 weeks away is weighing hard on this heart of mine.  Oh, yes I know this is another way to trust the Lord and I am so proud of the young lady that she has become, but I just held her in my arms for the very first time yesterday it seems.

Palm Sunday Praise

This past Sunday we celebrated Palm Sunday with a traditional children's processional complete with waving palm branches and precious children saying at the top of their lungs, "Hosanna!"  Precious with a capital P!

Thankfully, the Holy Spirit prompted my heart to grab my BGC (big girl camera) before heading out the door to church.  I am so glad that I listened.

We arrived to find the children getting lined up to enter the sanctuary.  I had to giggle a little bit too.  Most of the girls were gently waving their palm branches, a few girls where waving them wildly, and the boys...oh the boys! One little guy turned his palm branch around to have the stem pointing out.  He wielded it like it was a machine gun.  Too funny!

A few liked to wave their branches in front of Mr. Incredible's face and that made me giggle too.  He is so patient with all of them and his heart for children is as big as he is.  Love him!

Here are a few of the images I quickly captured that morning:

Mondays Mystery is....

Did you guess?  Here is another picture to help you out a bit.  They are not chipmunks.
Okay, I'll zoom in a little closer.  They are not baby deer or even baby squirrels (but how cute would that be).

They are baby cotton tail bunnies.  And they are sooooooo PRECIOUS!!!!

My motherly instinct is in complete overload! I think about them all the time.  The girls and I check on them several times throughout the day and before we go to bed at night.  We weren't sure if they were being fed or not so Hannah and I placed two twigs in the shape of an X on top of the little bunny burrow and when we checked on the baby bunnies in the morning it was gone. Their momma is feeding them at night.

After a little research, we learned that the momma bunny pulls out her own hair to help insulate the nest for her babies.  And she feeds them at night and hides during the day as to not attract predators to her babies.  So sweet!  Just look at those itty-bitty ears!
They still have their eyes closed and they grow by the hour it seems.
A few are starting to hop a little bit when we come to check on them.  It is so funny.

Baby cotton tail bunnies...I'm in love!

Mystery Monday

Happy Monday!  I have to tell you that when I typed my title for this post, I left of the "t" in mystery.  So, my title read Mysery Monday yuck! Let's start over.  I like MysTery Monday so much better.  Hope you had a great weekend.  Ours went by way too quickly!

I couldn't wait to tell you that Mr. Incredible found a little surprise in my garden this past Saturday.  He was so excited to show me.  Can you tell what it is?  Look a little closer!  Do you know what the mystery is?
I've never grown this in my garden before.

What do you think it is???  I can't wait to hear your guesses!

I'll reveal more pictures and the answer tomorrow.  Ya'll have a wonderful, not "Mysery," Monday!

Wind as Big as Texas

Oh, ya'll it is STILL so hot and dry in our part of Texas. We woke up this morning to the sound of the wind and the smell of smoke in the air.  There are still fires burning in our part of Texas.  And the wind, oh the wind don't get me started!  Today is the day our city has declared a "Pray for Rain" day and we are asking the Lord to please send the rain that our land so desperately needs!

The theme for this week's I Heart Faces challenge is.........wind! How fitting.  Instantly, I thought of this picture of my Hannah from last week's fun photo shoot wearing my vintage 1988 prom dress.  The wind just seems to dance through her beautiful hair.  I love this photo and I love my girl.  The only thing better was if Rachel had been in the picture too.  Ya'll have a wonderful Lord's Day!

And The Picture With the Most Votes Is.....

Thank you to all of you for your sweet comments and for taking time out of your day to help me choose a photo!  You blessed my socks off yesterday!  I submitted my entry, that ya'll helped me choose, and now the waiting begins.  Last year there were over 1100 entries.  Wow!  Have a blessed day.  It's Friday...woo hoo!

My Baby Girl is Wearing My Prom Dress!

Hannah and I had so much fun tonight!  I had a photo shoot that I've been dreaming about for a while.  My dream involved my baby girl and my prom dress made by by mother in 1988!  I've been carefully saving my gorgeous, one-of-a-kind, designed by my precious mother, prom dress in the back of my closet and hoping for a special day to get it out and play a little dress up.

My prom dress fit Hannah perfectly!  {Sigh!} I was once this size too!

Hannah looked GORGEOUS in my dress.  I added my pearls and Hannah added her sense of style...her favorite cowboy boots.  Perfect!  I grabbed my camera, we hopped in the car, and found a really cool place for special photos.

(On a side-note, I am entering one of these photos in a photography competition.  The theme is "pastels."  Which one would you choose???? PLEASE, leave me a comment and let me know your fave.  I love them all, but that's probably not due to my photography skills but due to the fact that my baby girl is in every one of them!.  So, pretty-please-with-sugar-on-top, help a girl out and leave me a comment! PLEASE! )

Ready?  Okay, here they are in no particular order:  Hannah wearing my prom dress.
