My Baby Girl is Wearing My Prom Dress!

Hannah and I had so much fun tonight!  I had a photo shoot that I've been dreaming about for a while.  My dream involved my baby girl and my prom dress made by by mother in 1988!  I've been carefully saving my gorgeous, one-of-a-kind, designed by my precious mother, prom dress in the back of my closet and hoping for a special day to get it out and play a little dress up.

My prom dress fit Hannah perfectly!  {Sigh!} I was once this size too!

Hannah looked GORGEOUS in my dress.  I added my pearls and Hannah added her sense of style...her favorite cowboy boots.  Perfect!  I grabbed my camera, we hopped in the car, and found a really cool place for special photos.

(On a side-note, I am entering one of these photos in a photography competition.  The theme is "pastels."  Which one would you choose???? PLEASE, leave me a comment and let me know your fave.  I love them all, but that's probably not due to my photography skills but due to the fact that my baby girl is in every one of them!.  So, pretty-please-with-sugar-on-top, help a girl out and leave me a comment! PLEASE! )

Ready?  Okay, here they are in no particular order:  Hannah wearing my prom dress.

  5. I can't EVEN choose, they are all so beautiful! When I saw them it reminded me of the covers of these historical fiction books I read with the field and barn in the background.

#1 grabs me because of her expression and I like seeing the boots.

They are all great! I can see why you'd have trouble choosing which one to enter.

  11. Your daughter is beautiful are your photography is stunning. All the photos are lovely but for me that last shot is a winner, just that expression and the setting with a less colorful background makes that dress really pop too.
