"A" Family {A Sneak Peek}

  This sweet family graciously rescheduled when I was sick.  We were blessed with a gorgeous day for the rescheduled session.  I think she is going to be a cheerleader just like her beautiful mommy!

All of the images make me smile, but this one does especially. Look at her expression and how she is posing her toes.

She loved my new piano and trumpet/coronet/bugle thing!

And I think she is going to be a photographer in her spare time. Too cute!

Megan's Maternity Session {A Sneak Peek}

Megan was so precious to reschedule her session while I was sick.  We couldn't have been asked for a more beautiful morning.

I had the hardest time narrowing down their Gallery. Nearly every image looked as beautiful as this one!  They are a beautiful family inside and out!

The daddy was our ring bearer in our wedding!  I have to admit, I got a little teary eyed taking these images. What a fine man he is and oh how his family loves him!

Sweet P Turns Two {A Sneak Peek}

I can't believe this little Princess is 2 already!  It seems like yesterday we were photographing her newborn session.  Oh, what a joy to watch her grow and what a blessing to photograph her.  She is precious in every way and she is loved by so many!  

Sweet P loves shoes.  Knowing this, I wanted to plan a styled session around shoes.  It was so fun!  And from the smile on her sweet face, she thought so too!

She loves, "sucka-s" and w happily provided suckers throughout her session.  She is so fun!

My new megaphone arrived just in time for her session.  I think she likes it!

She is going to be an all American cheerleader one day!

I so look forward to taking this family's annual pictures at their beautiful ranch!  The children, the parents, the outfits, the location....delight!!!

Hello November!

Please, pardon the little break from blogging!  I have been terribly sick....like as in I have never been so sick in my life!  Pneumonia is now a 4 letter word in my book and I don't cuss!  It is brutal!!!!  I'm finally on the mend and trying to resume normal life again, just not quite as fast paced as before.  And oh is that hard.

I realized that I don't have a stop button unless a doctor mentions they might be checking for Congestive Heart Failure on top of pneumonia.  What????  I thought both of those were for the elderly only.  Thankfully, it wasn't CHF, just complications from pneumonia and fluid around my lungs.   But, I was on home/bed rest for a week and a half.  I think I watched every single Christmas Hallmark movie available.  Sigh!  I use to enjoy those!

I'm so thankful for the many of you who prayed for me, sent cards, and made the most delicious meals. What a blessing you are!

I did manage to finish editing all of my recent sessions and finish my Christmas shopping from bed!  Delight!

I couldn't resist posting this image today...one of my first sessions back.  We were blessed with the best weather and the most glorious sunlight!

Gorgeous doesn't even begin to describe this senior! She is beautiful inside and out and wow can she rock a serious look!

Sweet P {Photo of the Morning}

Sweet P, her beautiful mommy, and I had so much fun at her 2nd Birthday Photo Shoot!  We giggled, sang songs, did a few cheers together, and had some "suckers" (lollipops).  This session was a blast...and now I'm ready to go shoe shopping!!! Maybe Sweet P should go with me!  I like her taste in shoes!
