Welcome

Welcome to my little corner of the world. I am so honored by your visit today. My name is Kristi and I am married to my college sweetheart(I refer to him here as "Mr. Incredible"), momma to my 2 beautiful girls who are growing much too quickly, a high school computer teacher, photographer, and a gardener (at times~right now I'm growing weeds). I love to laugh, drink strong Starbucks coffee, take pictures, and be anywhere my family is. Jesus is my Savior and I try so hard to be the wife and momma that He has called me to be. I often fail but He lovingly picks me up, dusts me off, and encourages me that with Him all things are possible. Feel free to join me on this journey of faith, stop in and say hello, look around, and leave a comment~I love comments. Why "Kiki's Corner?" My nephews call me Aunt Kiki and I love that too.

Just in Time

There is still time to order custom jewelry pieces filled with memories to treasure!  They will be custom designed, wrapped, and ready for the tree but this is the absolute last weekend to order to guarantee delivery for Christmas.

I have had a blast designing beautiful pieces like these for special clients this weekend.

Photography memories to cherish!  "He went to Jared?"  No, he went to Kiki's Corner Photography!  Delight!!

Casen's Christmas {A Sneak Peek}

I am blessed to have taken Mr. Casen's pictures since he was only a few weeks old.  And now he is walking!  Time flies by so quickly.

His smile makes me smile, how about you:?

I think his beautiful mommy is going to love this one:

Merry Christmas, sweet family!

Mr. Casen doesn't have any idea what his mommy and daddy are doing.  :-)

Photo of the Morning

I think he should put this picture under the tree with a note that says, "Dear Santa, I have been so good this year....." and not worry about the cookies.  Oh so cute!!!

Of Monsters and Trains {A Sneak Peek}

Oh what fun we had!  This little guy just turned 6 months.  Isn't he the cutest little green "monster" you have seen?  His shirt say, "I've got my eye on you!"  Too fun!

His big sister just turned 3 and she loves anything Thomas the Train.  My girls and I had the best time getting these sets together.

Isn't this little princess pretty?

Beautiful family.  I love the colors their momma chose for their session.

This one may be my favorite from their family session:

If you know this little princess, then you know her giggles are absolutely contagious!  I giggled just thinking about it.

The "W" Family {A Sneak Peek}

It is the busy season but I am loving every second! I love how their momma picked their colors so perfectly.  Perfect colors and a perfect location....delight!

"H" Family {A Sneak Peek}

What a blessing to capture this gorgeous family in their beautiful new home!

I don't know how we are going to decide on Christmas cards, I love each image!

The "H" Family {A Sneak Peek}

I loved meeting this sweet family and their adorable little cowboy.  We couldn't have been blessed with a more beautiful afternoon for pictures!  Delight!

Photo of the Morning

Could this family be any more beautiful?  Seriously, they could easily be on the cover of a magazine.  Not only are they beautiful on the outside, but beautiful on the inside and their love for each other spills over to anyone that meets them.  What a joy to take pictures of them in their new home!

(More Sneak Peeks to follow soon!)

My Brother'sWedding

My brother was married the first weekend in November. I was to be the photographer of the wedding and I had carefully circled the date on my calendar, bought a cute new dress to go with my favorite boots, and planned several pictures that I wanted to make sure we captured.

Two days before the wedding I was ordered to complete bed rest in hopes of avoiding being hospitalized for the pneumonia that hard turned into a scary state. And my heart, while already working too hard with my lack of oxygen, was broken. No wedding and no traveling....doctors orders. {sigh!}

I couldn't even call my brother or my parents to tell them without sobbing. The sobbing made me start choking, turn red, and gasp for air. So Mr. Incredible had to make the call for me. Their wedding was two weeks ago and I'm still not over it.  Yes, I know God had a plan but this one broke my heart.

My brother and sister-in-law were very gracious and thankfully God had already provided a photographer to take photos in my place....but still!

A week after the wedding I was allowed to go back to work and slowly resume normal life.  We had plans to attend the Baylor vs. Texas Tech (sic 'em bears) and God gave me an idea to invite my brother and sister-in-law.  They graciously agreed to stay at the Gaylord Texan, our treat, and take some wedding pictures.  While it wouldn't make up for missing photographing the wedding, it would make me feel somewhat better.  It was just what this heart of mine needed and it was so fun!

And honestly, I couldn't think of a more beautiful place to take them:
Love the twinkling Christmas lights in the background:

And seeing how happy-in-love these two are:

See what I mean?

We had to show off her cute wedding boots:

They got to sit in Santa's chair too.  So fun!

And then I set my camera and handed it to my first Sister-in-law, Mr. Incredible's sister, and she took our new family photo.

It certainly doesn't make up for missing the wedding but it makes this heart of mine feel a little better.

A Photo Session With Raindrops and Rainbows

What joy to meet BP from Raindrops and Rainbows and her family!And what a perfect fall afternoon for family photos!

I love the colors that she chose for the session against the beautiful fall colors of our setting.

BP and I have followed each other's blogs for years.  I felt like I knew her but it was so nice to meet her in person.

This image shows where her baby boy was baptized.  Love this!

How do I know when a photo session is finished?  When I get images like this.  Mr. C totally cracked me up!

BP, thank you for the joy of taking your family photos and getting to spend time with your family!

The "N" Children {A Sneak Peek}

I'm so glad these two stopped by for a session.  They make Studly, the Studebaker, look good!

I'm glad Gucci came too!
