Our baby girl joined the 7th grade tennis team this year which made me so thankful that we had taught her a little bit about tennis this past summer. Hannah and Skyler are doubles partners, the coaches and their friends call them the "Twin Towers." Both girls are very tall for their age and a little intimidating on the court, basketball and tennis.
When the season began, Skyler's momma offered to take the girls shopping for matching outfits. I was getting the last minute details together for prom, so I thankfully just sent money with Hannah. This is what they came up with:
All of the 7th grade girls are just learning to play tennis so they proudly exclaimed that even if they didn't play well then at least they looked good trying. Girls, you look fabulous!
I have had conflicts with 2 of the tennis meets, UIL trip with my Computer Apps team, and Prom, so I was so excited to finally get to see my girl play tennis (I just hate to miss anything that my girls are involved in).
I saw scences like this:
and this:
and this! I love the look of concentration on her face:
Hannah's height makes her look pretty fierce on the court and I think I just captured her actually jumping~her basketball coach would be so thrilled!
The girls ended up taking 3rd place! Woo hoo! They play again Saturday, 2 hours away. Can you say, "Road Trip?!"

Oh what fun! You make me miss the days of going to my boys events! Those were good times. So now I'll wait for Grandkids and their "events."
Yeah..yeah..yeah!! Isn't it great watching your kids play sports!
Question for you..what kind of camera do you have? I'm in need of a new one....and yours my friend..takes amazing photos.
I used to "play" tennis in high school. Confession: I did it just to get out of school on Friday and to get a good tan. Bigger confession: I was okay with that. :)
I now play Wii Tennis. I'm much better on the Wii. lol.
Love the outfits!
How fun! I agree, they look great in their matching outfits.
To Hannah:
WOOOhOOOO! GO GIRL!!!!
Kristi,
I just loved seeing your name come across my blog! I was finally able to put it back up. I have missed everyone terribly. However, it has definitely been a season of being still and knowing "He is God". I may be sporadic at best these next few weeks. Josh turns 18, graduates in San Antonio (what a great accomplishment), and then we are back home for a big send off party for boot camp. My mama's heart can scarce take it all in, but God is good and I'm clinging to Him every minute of every day! So glad I got to talk with you!! Love ya so much!!
