I just love this time of year! Friday night was our first football game of the season. We traveled to watch Rachel and the band perform at halftime. Hannah had two of her best buddies ride home with us and spend the night. Mr. Incredible and I delighted in hearing all about who was "hot" in junior high, teacher stories, and listening to their giggles. (One of the coaches split his pants warming up the team before the game...poor coach...but so funny!)
We have really enjoyed our three day weekend. I wish all of them could be 3 days!
It seems I am trying to grow the largest squash in the county, and not on purpose. Mr. Incredible and Rachel picked them for me. What on earth would I do with the size of these?
The squash smell reminded me of pumpkins and even though it was 94 degrees outside I just had to decorate my house for fall. I enjoy seeing how people decorate so I thought it would be fun to post some of my pictures:
This is my dining room table before and after:
My front door and porch:
The entry way:
My back door. (This belonged to my dear Aunt Faye as did my wreath on the front door~they are my favorite fall decorations!)
The family room:
The kitchen:
And look what I found in my garden! Delight!!!
Three lil pumpkins! I am so excited!
Whew! That's my tackle for today. Have a blessed day!
Joyfully,
Kristi

I hadn't even thought about getting out the gourds...the heat is so intense, but I guess it is time. Maybe my mom and I can do that while she is here. I can let that be my post for next week. Thanks for the inspiration.
