Welcome

Welcome to my little corner of the world. I am so honored by your visit today. My name is Kristi and I am married to my college sweetheart(I refer to him here as "Mr. Incredible"), momma to my 2 beautiful girls who are growing much too quickly, a high school computer teacher, photographer, and a gardener (at times~right now I'm growing weeds). I love to laugh, drink strong Starbucks coffee, take pictures, and be anywhere my family is. Jesus is my Savior and I try so hard to be the wife and momma that He has called me to be. I often fail but He lovingly picks me up, dusts me off, and encourages me that with Him all things are possible. Feel free to join me on this journey of faith, stop in and say hello, look around, and leave a comment~I love comments. Why "Kiki's Corner?" My nephews call me Aunt Kiki and I love that too.

Sweet P {Photo of the Morning}

Sweet P, her beautiful mommy, and I had so much fun at her 2nd Birthday Photo Shoot!  We giggled, sang songs, did a few cheers together, and had some "suckers" (lollipops).  This session was a blast...and now I'm ready to go shoe shopping!!! Maybe Sweet P should go with me!  I like her taste in shoes!

The "G" Family {A Sneak Peek}

What a blessing to capture this family!  I love it that their mommas wanted a Grandparent and Grandchild session. Two generations....love this!

"Your faithfulness continues through all generations;" Psalm 119:90

I adore this image and it makes me want to grab my girls and my momma and take some pictures too!  Such a sweet moment in time!

Love this image too, but I can say that about all of this family's images though!

This brother and sister are growing up so quickly!

And these two beautiful sisters were babies yesterday, right?

Pappaw and KJ....love their smiles!

I love to capture happy families that love each other so much!

Their love for each other is so evident!

What a blessing to capture this family! Thank you for choosing me to be the one behind the camera!

Holly Jolly Mini Sessions!

***Update:  The Mini Sessions are completely booked.  :-)

I added a few spots for the Exclusive Holly Jolly Sessions! These are the last sessions that I have open for 2013! Please, email me or message me to reserve your session!

Princess "B" {6 month Sneak Peek}

I cannot believe this sweet little Princess is already 6 months old.  She has changed so much since her Newborn Session.

She is sugar and spice and everything nice!

And her smile can light up any room!

At six months old, she wants to walk just like her big brother and big sister!

Isn't she beautiful?!  So precious!!!

Sweet "M" Family {A Sneak Peek}

What a wonderfully sweet family and sweet session!  Oh, there is just something about this image!  I absolutely love the relationship captured here.  Big brother telling little sister a secret.
 Their expressions are priceless!

Sweet little miss has the most beautiful eyes and her freckles...oh I love them!

Mr. G is so funny and so handsome and all boy!  Although, he really didn't think my jokes were that funny.  Ha!

Beautiful family!

Mr. G wanted a baseball session like my nephews.  Not to worry mom, I have one with his eyes open!

And big sister wanted in on the action too.  She hit the first one right off the bat!  Awesome!

Sweet Cousin Session {A Sneak Peek}

What a fun Cousin Session!  Beautiful children, beautifully dressed, surrounded by beautiful light. Delight!

This is the birthday girl!  Isn't she beautiful?  I wanted to capture the back of her dress too.  I miss big bows on my girl's dresses.

Her cousin is so pretty and so sweet!  Do you see her tongue peeking through?  So cute!

And her beautiful big sister!  At the end of the session, she chose a mustache from the Treasure Box.
 Love that!

This is their baby brother.  He was so fun to photograph too.  Love his "Mohawk!"

The Birthday Girl's big brother.  He was singing me the funniest song.  So handsome!

And his baby sister.  She is so smiley and reminds me of a real Madame Alexander doll.  So beautiful!

And their cousin who just may get a call from GQ one day.  Hello, handsome!

I have several favorites from their Session but this ranks up at the top!
Mr. B was winking back at me.  So adorable and makes me smile every time I look at this image!

Thank you sweet family for the blessing of taking your photos!  I can hardly wait for you to see your Gallery!

Photo of the Morning

What a fun Cousin Session this was.  So many beautiful children with such fun personalities.  My sides hurt from giggling so much!  I love everything about this image....the beautiful, happy, smiling children, their beautiful outfits, and the amazing sun flare.  Love!!!

My Drum Major

Our baby girl is one of the Drum Majors this year.  Have I mentioned that already?  We are proud so proud of her!  She and her co-drum major received special recognition at the Pre-UIL Marching competition.

My sweetheart took this of us a week ago.  You can tell in my eyes I am not feeling well (pneumonia) but I wasn't going to miss watching Hannah on the field!

Getting ready for their salute:

It's a cute salute, very unique!

My mom made her beautiful train!

It looks amazing on Hannah and on the field:

They competed in the Regional Marching Contest and received a Division 1 Rating!!! We are headed to the Area competition next weekend.  Yay!!!

Sessions in Dallas

I was blessed to feel well enough to go to my Workshop (continuing education hours) in Dallas.  I am battling pneumonia.  UGH!  And as of Monday morning, I wasn't sure I would feel up to the drive or the workshop.

Thankfully, the Great Physician heard our cry for help and blessed me with the energy to not only make the drive but to feel well enough to enjoy the workshop and several photography sessions while I was there.  I even managed to visit my favorite store for a quick 15 minutes before checking in to the hotel.  Delight!

I arrived home around 11:15 last night and I can hardly wait to edit the images!!!  I'm ready to see my high school students and see how they fared on their assignments while I was away.  I had a wonderful substitute teacher, so I am quite confident they did very well while I was gone.

Here is just a little tease of the kind of sessions I did while I was there:

The UPS and Fedex guys were busy at my house this week too.  Look at all of the photography orders that arrived while I was gone!

I can hardly wait to open these boxes and see all of the beautiful Canvas, Standouts, Image Boxes, Cards, and Albums inside!!!

How Does Your Garden Grow?

My parents and I are gardening! Yay!!! I'm no longer growing weeds (in my vegetable garden that is) but delicious vegetables! We have a Fall Garden. Delight!!!

We have zucchini and squash:

And the most delicious tomatoes.  I love tomatoes!!

And some of the hottest jalapeno peppers.  They might be small but they are mighty.  Ole!

We have a few herbs too and one day plan to plant roses in the middle raised bed.  What a blessing!

My Latest Photography Floor

My dad built this floor and wall for me!!  It is amazing and my favorite prop!  It is exactly what I have been wanting to find but couldn't.  Dad to the rescue!  It's better than I imagined!!

This floor reminds me of the day my dad and Grandpa built a feature wall in our basement in Kansas many years ago.   Special memories!

Mr. G Turns 4 {A Sneak Peek}

Happy 4th Birthday, Mr. G!

He loves his shades, can you tell? So cute!

I see a glint of orneriness in his eyes, do you?

Capturing him playing with Thomas makes me smile!

Baby brother had fun with the train cars too.  Aren't they adorable?!
