FIESTA

Last week our school district along with community sponsors held our first annual Fiesta which stands for, "Family Involvement Encourages Students to Achieve."  It was a sultry 106 degrees but so many administrators, teachers, school staff, community supporters, students and their families came to participate.

There were a lot of fun blow up games, a dunking booth with the head of the Athletic department in the booth, pinatas, food, books, snow cones, and informational booths.  Here are a few pictures from the event:

One person explained that he was sweating so much, "He could grow rice."  Ha!  Yes, it was that hot, but what a fantastic first event!

  1. Ugh, I'm sweating just thinking about it. Oh wait, nope that's just because I'm drinking hot coffee right now. LOL!
    Looks like fun my friend.
