I brought my camera and headed to the sidelines. I would never tell him this, because football players are so macho and cool, but he was the cutest one on the field. Really, he was. Not that I am biased or anything.
He flashed his eyes at me a couple of times just to let me know that he saw me and my heart melted. I was thrilled to be on the sidelines snapping pictures and cheering him on...but the hard part is....um how do I say this....I never thought I would post these words on my blog....his team is called......oh dear, here goes...the Aggies! Yuck! I said it!
Remember, I went to BAYLOR University?! So, no I didn't have any stinkin' maroon to wear to the game. I nearly wore my Green and Gold but was told by one of my students that there is another pee-wee team and they are the Baylor Bears. So, I wore my normal football sideline attire and proudly cheered for Andrew! They fought hard but lost 30-0.
I love this next one. See, he knew I was there...so precious!
I use to coach my girls' pee-wee cheerleading squads every year. I miss that! Please, tell me that they are not too old for that anymore.....I won't listen because it simply cannot be!
Yes, I'm in denial. Sorry! Those days were a lot of fun. I think the cheerleaders' favorite part is the run through sign. I think the boys like it too:
Oh cuteness! Pee-wee football. That is just too cute.
ReplyDeleteHere's what's funny. When you said the favorite part was running through the sign, in my head I thought, "Someone always eats it when they run through the sign." Then I scrolled down and in the picture below, one of the players is fixing to eat it. I lost it! LOL!
Fun pictures my friend.

Ummm....I don't know if we can be bloggy friends anymore - all I can say is WHOOP!
ReplyDeleteYeah, I'm an aggie at heart! Although, I still like Baylor (many years of Super Summer on that campus).
I could NEVER cheer on the Longhorns though! So as long as your not wearing orange - I guess I still be your friend. :)
Blessings to you,
